Cats are undeniably cute, but they can also be quite annoying. Usually, they only meow at you when they want their canned food. When they don't need anything, no matter how you try to tease or engage them, they often respond with indifferent or aloof behavior. Of course, not every cat acts this way, but this is a common enough trait that the internet lovingly refers to cats as "masters", and their humans as "servants".
In fact, some devoted cat owners have gone beyond treating their cats as mere "masters" - they revere them as "deities"! One such example is a Japanese Twitter user, Kayama Yuu (@yu_kayama), who shared his creation of an ultra-cute little shrine made entirely out of cardboard, dedicated to his beloved cat. Every detail of this tiny shrine is crafted with great care, including doors and windows that can be opened or closed - perfect for when the "master" is away from "home".
Hmm? What has the servant made this time? Let's go take a look!
Inside this charming paper shrine, you can see cat motifs both in front of the altar and above the windows, symbolizing that this is a sacred place dedicated to the master, where canned food is offered regularly.

It looks quite cozy - and judging by the cat's satisfied expression, the "master" seems to approve! If you offer canned food on time every day, perhaps your cat might even grant your wishes. Of course, it all depends on the mood of our feline overlord whether your wishes will be fulfilled or not.

Interestingly, this isn't a new phenomenon. Several years ago, other cat owners on Twitter had already crafted various styles of cat shrines. While it's unclear who originally came up with the idea, it's heartwarming to see that the shared love and devotion of these "servants" to their "masters" has inspired many to create unique cardboard shrines for their adorable yet sometimes exasperating cats to enjoy.

After all, isn't that the perfect way to honor the mysterious, charming, and occasionally infuriating creatures we call cats?
