One car owner planned to drive out but discovered that a group of cats had already occupied the roof of his vehicle to keep warm. Deciding not to disturb the cats during their rest, he opted for a different car. As the weather turned colder, many unexpected places began to "grow" cats.
A Japanese netizen shared an amusing incident where he intended to go out for lunch but found his Mazda ND Roadster convertible covered with a whole nest of cats, seemingly trying to soak up heat on the black soft top. The kind-hearted owner couldn't bear to shoo the cats away and ultimately took another vehicle, humorously admitting defeat to the feline intruders.
The user, known as "@jyaga_syumi" on X (formerly Twitter), recounted how he was about to drive out for a meal when he reached the parking lot and saw his car's roof entirely occupied by six cats, including a cow-patterned cat, an orange-and-white cat, and a tabby. Upon noticing the owner’s presence, the cats became slightly alert, but he chose not to disturb them and allowed them a peaceful resting space.
Later, he drove a different car and speculated that perhaps the black color attracted the cats because it retained heat better, inadvertently drawing them to sunbathe on top. After returning from lunch, he found that all the cats had left, although there was a noticeable patch of cat fur left behind on the soft top.
This heartwarming cat gathering photo garnered over 14 million views and was shared across various social media platforms, with users humorously commenting on the situation: "Soft top? A metal roof would be too cold," "The proper use of a car roof!" "Meowzda," "Cat concentration zone," and "The fact they can gather so many shows how much they love it."
