Feeling sorry for the hungry cat, they bought cat food to feed it. Eventually, the stray cat began visiting their home regularly for meals and even started sleeping at their doorstep. However, there was an odd pattern: the cat would eat and sleep at the doorstep every night but would disappear after 5 AM, only to return around lunchtime for another meal.
The netizen noted that while the stray cat seemed comfortable moving around, it often sat quietly on a mat at the doorstep, staring at the door for long periods. It would only retreat to its cozy spot after realizing that no humans were coming out. They expressed a desire to adopt the cat but faced challenges when trying to bring it inside; the cat would meow and approach them but seemed hesitant to enter.
