An alarming incident recently took place on the Second Ring Expressway in Qingbaijiang, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, where a snake unexpectedly slithered into a toll booth. The female toll collector on duty was so frightened that her face went pale, and she fled the scene in a panic.
According to posts on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the event occurred on the 10th of this month, but surveillance footage was only made public recently. The video shows the toll collector diligently registering documents while the snake quietly moved near the window behind her left side, completely unnoticed by her at the time.
Shortly after, when the toll collector took out a notebook to verify some details, the snake had shifted to her front-left side. She sensed something was wrong, glanced to her left, and was immediately terrified. She screamed and quickly ran away from the booth.
